I'm looking to get some skincare as a present for someone but I'm not too sure where to start.
Their skintype is dry with some redness and they've never had a proper skincare regime before so I wanted to start very simple: cleanser, toner, moisturiser as a maximum really. I really don't want to scare them off with too many things but if there are any amazing products you know of then let me know.
No budget really, it's a present so I don't mind paying a bit more.
Any suggestions for good products for this skin type?

I have really dry skin and lush skincare worked wonders for my face. I use Ultrabland to cleanse, Breath of Fresh Air to tone, and Celestial to moisturize. I also use grease lighting as a spot treatment but I don't know if breakouts are a problem for them.
Lush completely changed my face for the better. These products helped my skin not feel so dry and made my makeup go on SO much better.
These products all are good for sensitive skin as well. Always a plus when skincare items are gentle 😊

Thanks Kayla! Would you say Ultrabland is more of a makeup remover or a cleanser/ wash? I've always got the impression it's more of a makeup remover (never used it myself). I'm trying to get a routine together for my boyfriend and I don't think he'd need makeup remover :P I'd love your feedback on it though, I've been curious about that product for myself.
And thanks Carol but do you have any recommendations for specific products? I've used both brands myself but I'm an oily skin type. I found Clinique quite drying personally and love the La Roche Posay effeclar line but as I'm shopping for a different skintype I wouldn't buy the same products that I would for myself.

I use it as a cleaner! It's so different from regular face washes. It doesn't strip the oils off my face and leaves it feeling very soft and moisturized while still feeling clean. That being said, not sure if your boyfriend would like it though, it definitely feels different than other face washes and he may not like that! Boys can be more picky about that kind of stuff. I would still recommend the other products though if he has dry/sensitive skin! The toner is clarifying but very soothing at the same time, and the moisturizer smells great and really helped smooth out my skin.

It's quite balmy from what I remember isn't it?
Last time we went away he borrowed some cleansing balm from me and hated it so maybe if it's more towards that texture it wouldn't be for him :P
I'll definitely take a look at the other products though. Any excuse to wander into Lush, haha.

It has beeswax in it so he might not! It leaves a protective barrier over your face to keep in moisture and he probably wouldn't like it. I'm sure they have other cleansers there that would work for him though!
