Okay so in the fall right before high school starts I'm going on a shopping spree. at first My goal was to earn $300 for it then 350 then 400. I don't usually shop at Abercrombie, Hollister, or Victoria's Secret, or any big brand name stores. I love sales and clearance racks. I'm a huge bargain shopper. I've never been on a shopping spree before and I have a few questions.

what should I wear because I'm going to be trying on a lot of things

what stores in the mall should I shop at

do you think 400 dollars is enough for a huge back to school shopping spree

also I have this thing where I really like one and five dollar bills. I have a lot of them in my savings for the shopping spree and I want to know how to take them with me and pay without people seeing how much I have

do you think it would be rude of me to ask a friend to come with me on my shopping spree because I will have a couple hundred dollars and I know that they won't spend that much. its not like I would be bragging and showing off how much money I have, its just I think it would be really fun to go with a friend but I don't want them to take it that way. I've been working really hard for the money I've earned so far and I already have two hundred and sixty five dollars saved up.

how much stuff should I buy because this will have to last me maybe 2/3 of my freshman year.
it would be really helpful you guys could make a list of stuff like

jeans 5 pair
camis 5
shirts 10
underwear 10
scarves 3
and so on

and I'm buying more than just clothes. I'm buying makeup, hair care, skincare, clothes accesories and whatever else I find

I think it's a good idea to find some inspiration first - which I recommend Pintrest. You can go and create a board of outfits you like and see what pieces you'd need to complete most of them. Like leggings, denim shirt, long, baggy knit cardigan. I do this when I go shopping to make sure I'm actually getting what I want/need to have nice outfits. It's have to be about finding your own style. Places I like to shop (no sure if they'll be there) are Garage, Aritizia, Forever 21, H&M. Most of them are fairly priced places. Another thing to spice up outfits is scarfs! Also try to get some shoes, comfy black ballet flats and a pair of tall black/brown leather boots would be a good start. As for the friend thing I think it's fine to ask someone to go. If you're really that worried about it you can ask her if she'll be doing shopping too and see what she wants to get. This way you can figure out if you're on the same level. And if you know you have a bigger budget than her tell her you really want her to come because you really value her opinion on style.

Stores:
Forever 21
Charlotte russe
American Eagle (jeans from here will last you for a very long time)
Jcpenny
Khols
Tj maxx/Marshalls
H&M
Nordstrom rack
-Sign up for emails on each store. That way they will send you an email when they have sales. Both online and in store.
-Look for inspiration on pintrest to see what you like.
- Look at your closet and see what you need.
- Make a budgets. Ex. 300$ for clothes 100$ shoes 100$ makeup
- I recommend getting a loy of basics so they can be paired with many things.
- As for your friend, tell them you want to go shopping and want their opinion.

1) I think a cute cardigan a tank and leggings along with sandals are comfy and easy to get on and off to try clothes on
2) you mentioned you liked sales racks and clearance sections so I suggest F21 and H&M thrift stores are also fun to look through and find cute things not in the stores
3) 400 is definitely enough to go shopping with, just budget on what you really need versus what you want
4) Since you have 5s and 1s maybe bring a big purse and maybe clip it in 50s and keep it tucked at the bottom if that makes you comfortable but you worked hard for it nothing wrong with having money

5) Be honest tell them you saved up some money and want them to go for their opinions and think it'll be fun
6) like Jocelyne said definitely take an inventory of things you have that you can still wear if you have bunch of tank tops or blue jeans in good condition don't bother buying more, I suggest essential pieces like plain white tee, black jeans, Pintrest can help a lot with finding key items and accent pieces.

Forgive me for writing so much lol but when it gets closer to the big shopping day consider having a sleepover the night before and both of you can look on Pintrest and get ideas from each other especially if she's going to be shopping along with you. My senior year my bestfriend and I spent hours looking at outfits and looks for graduation getting ideas. Never too old for sleepovers with your bestfriend lol.
