Yes what do you have? And if you are just starting to wear makeup, you can start with cheaper brands. Like Maybelline and Covergirl. I still use a lot if drugstore brands.

Hmm I'd say get yourself a Red, Nude, Orange, and Berry/purple lipstick. Those can all be mixed to create a ton of shades. NYC's expert last lipstick is pretty awesome for the price (like $2.50 in canada at least...). So is essence lipstick ($1.99 I believe). For eyeshadows the best I've found that are really cheap are the wet 'n wild ones. Get yourself the 8 pans or a few trios to play around with ($4.99/$2.99). The new big maybeline palettes are also great in terms of variety also they don't have the best payoff ($15.00 here)

When I started wearing makeup, I wore mascara and glittery eyeshadow. Not super glittery, but slightly.
