I agree with going to the doctor, it does look infected. If you hit it on the bottom of the pool,a better way to describe it would be to call it a scrape,which is what it looks like to me.

Yea, they should probably take it a little more serious. Anti bacterial cream doesn't help everything, I don't think it'll do your cut any justice since its obviously already seriously infected. Definitely make an appointment or go to urgent care in the next couple days.
