How can I make my lashes longer? Is there any not very expensive products I can use?

You can try getting a mascara primer or a lengthening mascara (:

There's no way for them to actually be long without using makeup.

Are you trying to make them grow longer? If so, I'm pretty sure the only thing proven to make your lashes grow is latisse and you can only get with a prescription. If you're looking for a lengthening mascara I really like the Loreal telescopic and the Loreal butterfly intenza butterfly mascara. (:

Just like with your hair all you can really do is keep them moisturized as possible. I personally really like using coconut oil with disposable sooolies to condition my lashes :)

Actually you can wash a old mascara brush off Completely then put petroleum jelly on it and apply like you would mascara you'll see results in a week or so.

Vaseline/Petroleum jelly is actually really bad for your eyes. It can cause eye infections. Just so you know (:

PLEASE DONT PUT PETROLEUM JELLY ON YOUR EYELASHES! For one, it will not actually grow your lashes. Your eyelashes fall out and regrow every 28-32 days so any changes you make to them is temporary unless you directly affect the hair follicle. Petroleum jelly particles are much to big to be absorbed by your eyelashes therefore will only act as a sealant which will trap moisture underneath it creating the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Any results people see is oil build up, and not actual growth. Petroleum jelly is very dangerous to put around your eye areas as they're so sensitive to bacteria. It can very easily cause infections or break you out in the eye area. In extreme cases you can lose your vision from unnoticed infections.

Petroleum jelly is horrible for your eyes.
don't put it on your eyes & plus it doesn't grow them.. AT ALL.

I have looked it up, I literally DO eyelashes for a living. Petroleum jelly cannot be absorbed by the hair follicles and that's nothing short of a fact.

DONT PUT PETROLEUM JELLY OR VASELINE NEAR OR ON EYELASHES. they don't actually make your lashes grow. I know the picture can be deceiving, but it can easily cause an eye infection and it's not safe. you are much better off getting a lengthening mascara or mascara primer.

But I thought you could take MASCARA OFF with petroleum jelly...no?

I agree with Les abiut seeing a doctor before taking any kind of pills. And Alysia petroleum jelly shouldn't be used around the eyes. It's better just to use an eye makeup remover (:

Ohhh I see...thanks. But for the actual post, I recommend using castor oil. It varies between ppl but if there is no growth it sure did make my lashes a lot stronger. I noticed a difference about a week and a half in out if about 6 weeks...or is castor oil bad around the eyes to? lol.

Castor oil is also bad. Same as any oil. Do not take pills and don't put oils (including Vaseline) around your eyes. Nothing will make them grow but Latisse
