I am 100% against the skinny shaming trend, as it is a very real thing that I face in my daily life.
As for specific brands that I boycott, I try to stay away from Abercrombie (rude CEO) and American apparel (sometimes offensive products and sexist advertising).

Loreal as they support Israel to kill innocent children. So do Estée Lauder.

Limecrime as the owner is a racist, egotistical brat.
Abercrombie and Fitch as the CEO said that they only want skinnyand attractive people wearing their clothes, despite the fact that the CEO looks like an albino orc.
Revlon because the CEO is racist.
Urban Outfitters as they promote mental illnesses such as depression (which I have myself) which is not right. Same as American Apparel as they promote eating disorders.

I am with Alex, I don't go out of my way to avoid a brand for any other reason that I just don't like the products.

Definitely limecrime.

Yeah UO and A&F do not get my money. For A&F it's not so much about their sizing issues, but the way they treat their employees. Like not letting a Muslim woman wear her hijab. She sued and won (obviously) but any company that feels they are important enough that they can blatantly disrespect their workers like that is not a place I want to shop.

Kenna just because you met her doesn't mean you know her, people are deceitful. Doe Deere has done so many things that are not right, it's not one or 2 little rumors or incidents, it's A LOT she has no respect for her customers

Lime crime and A&F I'm plus size so you can understand the A&F but I'm really disappoint in lime crime I almost bought from them because I soo want to try them but after everything that has been happening with that company and what doe deere has said I will not put my money in someones pocket if they are like that

Kenna I really think you need to do more research. So many people got their credit card information stolen and their products are repackaged lol

I've never liked Urban Outfitters. This gives me another reason to never walk inside the store, besides the fact that they sell ripped overpriced cheap clothing. But everyone likes their so called "hipster" vibe.

Also a&f. You have to be asked to work there. Basically if you're pretty, you can work there.

Ugh. I still love lime crime though :( and I don't know Lorac has been on my hate list but for personal reasons. I don't really have a hated brand.

My friend applied for a job at Gilly Hicks (which falls under the A&F, Hollister branding) and she had to send off a face/shoulders shot and a full body shot of herself. She also had to send off her measurements, clothing size, etc. I thought it was disgusting. She did get hired but they treated her like crap so she left.

Limecrime. Doe Deere may seem nice in person, but who isn't when they know they can be thrown under the bus at any minute? Also, you can't deny the recent credit card scandal and their approach on handling it. She's just very unprofessional along with a few other adjectives...
And recently revlon. I personally need to look into it more, but have heard the racists comments about race.
TBH I think consumers need to stop using "but the products are so good!" To justify their purchase from crummy brands--it just gives the brands more room to act despicably because no matter what they do morally, their products are good enough to dig them out of a whole.
