Are MAC eyeshadows good?

I'm thinking of buying a mac eyeshadow palette but wanted to know your opinions on them. I don't own any MAC shadows, are they really good and pigmented?

I think they are, but definitely get some that are not the lustre finish. They are bit gritty if that makes sense.

Here's a pic so you can hopefully see what I'm talking about. The 3 on top are lustre and the L-R bottom three are a velvet, frost and satin.

I think some are okay but I like MUG eyeshadows better.

I have a pallet I have made myself and they are my favourite shadows yet. However I have only got urban decay vice and naked1, morphe and sleek. I would love to try some MUG!

Personally I'd get there lipped everte I purchase a MAC eyeshadow they get cracked when I open the package.

I'd only buy a mac shadow if it was a truly unique color because other brands are better.

I think it's either hit or miss with MAC shadows. Some of my MAC shadows are beautiful and pigmented, and some of them aren't. Just like with most eyeshadows of any brand, some will be better than others. I would swatch the shades your interested in if I were you :)
