I use Sephora brand liquid eyeliner and I'm sorta new to make up... I have trouble getting close to my lashes and creating a straight thin line... Any tips?

Rest your arm on something, make sure you're comfortable and do short strokes and blink when needed. Patience is #1.

Also, if you don't already, do your mascara afterwards and then it doesn't matter if you get liner on your lashes, so just draw basically on the root of your lashes/lid.

When I do winged eyeliner, I do it with pencil liver first and then, once it looks good, trace over it with liquid liner :)

I like a little bit of a thicker liner with a short wing/point. I use kat von D tattoo liner which has a very very thin point so I usually will kind of draw an outline on my upper lid and then fill it in to get the desired thickness. Then I will go back and actually do the wing seperate. This kind of breaks things down for me and keeps me from smudging everything lol.

The Stila Pen liner is amazing! If you're willing to spend $16 then you'll get the hang of it!

Is there a way to keep the liner looking dark all day? I feel like after a few hours of wear it's starts to almost come off/look charcoal
