Well you can't get a nose ring when it's first pierced. they pierce it with a bone or screw or L bar.

I think both would look amazing on you! They'll pierce it with a stud first, then from there it's entirely up to you! Once the hole is healed you can switch it out to your preference that day :) Post a pic when it's done!! Xx

You can definitely get a ring when its first pierced. When I got it pierced, professionally I might add, I asked for a ring and the guy said that people don't normally ask for it but that they can do it. I've always preferred a ring & I think a ring would look fantastic on you :)

A ring/hoop can't be properly cleaned and crusties that are naturally created and attached to the jewelry will keep scratching the inside part of the piercing, causing trauma, delaying the healing process and risking infections. Also they trigger hypertrophic scarring bumps like crazy. If the piercer is experienced, professional and caring for the client he would never use a ring on a new piercing even if the client begged for it. As soon as the piercing is fully healed you can change the jewelry safely to whatever shape jewelry you want. (I worked in a piercing shop.)
