Okay so the other night I used a sample of the Boscia black face mask I go from Sephora. Not only was a weird black gooey substance but it dried to where I could peel off the mask. When I peeled it off it hurt like bloody hell!! It took all my little peach fuzz with it. I literally teared up while removing this mask. On a brighter note it did make my skin smooth and removed some gunk from the pores in my nose. Anybody else has had this experience with this mask? Oh and I don't have sensitive skin either.

You're not the only one, I also had that experience. You'll find reviews about it working like a mini wax lol. It's kinda like one of those biore strips for your whole fac

That is one of my favorite masks however it is a pain to use lol it hurts to take off but eventually you just get use to it but I also found that before it dries it burns your eyes lol but it really does wonders for my skin.

I actually like this mask particularly because it does take off all my peach fuzz...haha I don't find it too painful (and I actually do have sensitive skin) but I do see what you mean. When I first started using it, I didn't like it very much either. I personally prefer the blue calming mask by boscia. It's also a peel off mask, but this one doesn't stick as hard to my skin and comes off much easier. It does have a very tingly feeling though, which I know a lot of people dislike. :)

I've never tried the boscia one, even though I do like a lot of their products. However I did buy a freemans? (I think) peel off mask once and I've never used drugstore skincare ever and that was my only experience and it was horrible. It pulled off all my peach fuzz and my face was bright red afterwards like I had just waxed my whole face and it didn't peel off well so it took a while which just prolonged the pain. Back to higher end skincare after that, I see it's not just the mask I tried before which is good to know but I do agree with Jamie in the sense that I did go back to it a few times because I enjoyed that it removed my peach fuzz but every time it got to the point to peel it off I regretted it, so I threw it out to stop myself from using it lol.

Oh my!! I have a full-size tube of this sitting in my closet. Thank you for sharing your experiences because after reading this thread I'm taking it back. Yikes!!

I also have a tube of this and really wanted to try it...then I started reading all these reviews about how difficult and painful it is to get off - I have been too afraid to try it since!
