Hello ladies. c:

I have a few questions regarding face masques (masks?), because I tried the Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay Spa one, and now I'm hooked lol. I've only ever used that and two others, and that was back in my first year of cosmetology, so I'm a little out of the loop and pretty much a noob at this point haha. Anyway...
1.) Which ones do you recommend and why? (Normal to dry skin btw)
2.) How often do you suggest doing them? When-day/night?
3.) A little off topic..but are there any masques or strips for blackheads that you guys recommend?

I think that's it for now. I'd also like to stay away from DIY ones, everything else is fair game.

I have super ultra dry skin, but I also get blackheads, so I like charcoal masks. as long as I use a heavy moisturizer afterwards my skin doesn't dry out and they work like a charm. I use the Origins charcoal mask most often. I also like the GlamGlow ThirstyMud if my skin is being contrary, and the Boscia peel-off black mask.

I do them every couple weeks, both because I'm lazy and because my skin doesn't like them too often.

I use the Biore ones and they work really well for me, but some people don't like them. I use the pore strips after a shower so they really get all the gunk out

Omg masks are great haha. I recommend the Freeman Avocado and Oatmeal Clay Mask. I have normal skin and I really like this. Once a week I'll wash my face, exfoliate, and use this baby and it really deep cleans my skin and makes it really smooth.

I would use it once a week at night but it doesn't really matter what time of day you use it. If you have a problem area then you can use it like a spot treatment a second time during the week.

I hear a lot of people liking the Queen Helene Mint Julep Clay Mask for blackheads and acne prone skin, but I havent tried it personally. And I recommend the Biore strips for blackheads but I wouldnt use them too often because I heard that it could really mess up your skin.

I'm a bit of a skincare snob now. I'll do a treatment mask every 3-4 days on average and use an overnight mask mostly every night.

My skin is super dry.

I used the PTR mud mask and really liked it. I could feel it getting deep down. The Origins masks (10 minute troubled skin and charcoal) are also really nice. I only do them at night because who has time for that in the morning?

Stay away from pore strips! Gave me a mark on my nose! They are the devil! Xxx
