Castor oil doesn't thicken hair, I'm not sure about the acne part, but I highly doubt it. The only thing it really does is help with your bowel movements.

Pintrest has a lot of false information. Nothing can speed up hair growth or thicken your hair. That's all left up to genetics and nothing else. Maybe you could use it as a hair mask to strengthen your hair since it's an oil but speeding up hair growth or thickening hair isn't true, as nothing can do that.

I agree with Shanae. It won't make your hair grow faster or thicker, nothing can. I've used coconut oil as a hair mask and it works great leaves your hair feeling moisturized and soft.

I've never heard about castor oil being used for acne scars. I haven't tried it myself.

Personally, I wouldn't put it on acne scars, it could possibly clog your pores, which isn't good.

Kailey, my sister actually made me drink castor oil to induce my labor, haha. I heard that it's true but it didn't work for me.

I used to put it on my hair, while it didn't thicken or make it grow faster, it did make it feel incredibly soft and really helped out with how damaged my hair was due to bleach.

But I definitely don't recommend putting it on your face. I started getting a lot of acne around my face after I started putting it on my hair, it doesn't help with acne, just creates it.
