I think balayage just compliments everyone more. It looks much more natural than ombre and is very liw mantainance, which is a bonus. It works with your natural hair color and your natural features, so it'll just enhance you. I would go with light brown balayage hair if I were you.

I never pictured myself going blonde but now here I am. Honestly the best thing you can do is go on for a consultation with a stylist you trust :) that's what I did and I think my hair comes out great every time.

I suggest not going a platinum blonde. Add highlights. If you dye your hair one shade of blonde it won't look good. Recently I got additional blonde highlights added to my hair and somehow she made it look orange. So just be careful.

The picture you posted is a " balayge sombre" so it's all hand painted. So there is no harsh lines like highlights. I think I would look really good with a warm medium brown on top. Just keep in mine your hair texture is different from the picture so it won't look exactly the same
