I'm new to makeup, and I need to know.. Can you remove makeup with just water? I only put on a little eyeshadow in the morning, but I still want it off my face, so I use water. It mostly comes off, but can you actually remove makeup with just water??

Mmm I guess you can but I usually just use makeup remover wipes or coconut oil with a cotton pad

You can but it won't do a very good job at breaking down the product and actually getting it off your skin. I recommend Neutrogena's eye makeup remover for eyes, and Neutrogena wipes for the face. If you want something like water I hear bioderma is wonderful, I just ordered some myself.

No. Do the test: wash it off with water and then, with a very good cleanser and a cotton pad, try putting it on your face and you'll see left over makeup.

Technically yes, but it takes a little bit of vigorous rubbing to get it all off. If you invest in a simple makeup remover, or makeup pads it would be a lot easier on your face :)

Please use either olive or coconut oil to remove your makeup, you really don't want to do harsh rubbing on your face :( especially your eyes are so delicate and a simple coconut oil would remove it very quickly.

No, it won't completely remove your makeup. I suggest getting some wipes or something. Also, if you have non scented lotion, it removes makeup amazingly! Water alone just doesn't get the job done.

If you have Vaseline or a non scented lotion or moisturizer, you can take it off using the above with cotton balls or q tips

I wouldn't recommend putting vaseline on your face. I would stick with either coconut oil, or makeup remover/wipes.

When I don't have any wipes or makeup remover , I get a washcloth and rinse it with hot water (not to hot) and I put the wet hot towel on my face and let it melt down my makeup then I wipe it off.
