Well. Okay. Thanks. But you haven't seen me. I'm not fat but I'm not skinny. I don't have a model's body. I accept that I am what I am and while I may not embrace it, I am self conscious about it.

Side note: I prefer not to wear really short dresses. So try to keep the dress long like the one pictured. If it helps I'm about 5'4". ^-^

This may sound weird but you should go to burlington coat factory. The one near my house has a lot of really pretty prom dresses an some of them are from Macy's. Most of them are less than $60!

Try your local consignment store! You can usually get some great deals, even on designer dresses. I got a MK dress last summer for $16, no joke. And it was one of many!

I agree with Kailey! I got my winter ball one a few years ago at one for $8 and I looked it up online for fun and it turned out to be a $400 dress in perfect condition!

Last year for my senior prom my school had a dress event where all the dresses where only $5. They where all donated dresses some where new and others where used used but dry cleaned. It was a great event. That is where I got my prom dress.

That's an amazing idea, Merna!! I should bring it up to my school because that would really benefit the low income students. Makes prom an event anyone can attend and still look great!! :D
