I've tried several types of foundations including Estée Lauder and Mac however, they don't seem to last very long. Any suggestions?

What type of setting spray would you recommend?

I agree with Alex...explore primers and setting sprays. Another thing to consider is what is your skincare program like? Sometimes that will affect the outcome of any foundation that you apply to the face...using a moisturizer that is too heavy for your skintype is one example.

Check out Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray. Both ULTA and Sephora sell a $14 1 0z bottle spray that is worth trying before going for the $30 full size bottle.

I also use the Laura Mercier setting powder. I always set my makeup with loose powder as it doesn't have any ingredients that bind it together to make it pressed. I also put my powder on with my beauty blender and roll it out on my skin to make sure it is evenly set.
