You look pretty young..I didn't buy my first Nars blush (or any makeup over $30 really) until I was 18/19... Yes they're wonderful blushes but why don't you go spend it w/ friends or something?! You're only young once wait until you need the best quality makeup.. If I were you I'd be experimenting with less expensive stuff for now :)
I totally agree with Maggie. I didnt get my first NARS blush till I was 25. I experimented with a lot of drugstore goodies in my teens and once I hit 21 I was good to go because I made all my crazy mistakes with drugstore.
100% agree with Tonita C. There are several dupes for their blushes that are good quality. A girl I go to school with bought a NARS blush and when she got home she realized she had the exact same color in an ELF blush and the ELF went on smoother. I would look for dupes before jumping straight into nars.
The blushes? No, not really, IMO. I've been using NARS since I was a teen and I never got the big deal about Orgasm blush and their other ones. The lipsticks, glosses and eyeshadows are another story though, since they have an amazing range of shades, fantastic color payoff and in the case of the shadows blend very well and have a texture that's easy to work with. Blush is one of those things that comes in a pretty limited range of shades. Unless you're older and have dry skin, you can stick to a powder instead of a cream blush. Cream blush can be applied with fingers and gives a "dewier" look. Even drugstore brands are mush better than they use to be just ten years ago and as someone wrote earlier there are some good but less expensive dupes out there. Blush is one of those things where you really don't need to spend much to get a good look. It's more about the right shade and application at that point mostly.
I am almost 35 and I only own one Nars blush. I have quite a few from ELF and from Benefit. Check out beauty blogs like temptalia.com for good dupes of Nars blushes

They are so expensive, but every one says they are amazing quality. I'm not sure if I should splurge or save.

Yes, I lived off of NARS Orgasm blush for a few years...... Until I discovered NYX blushes! Super affordable, pigmented and long lasting.
