From a guy's point of view, I like to exfoliate before shaving and then after I shave I use Tend Skin pretty much daily. I do get the occasional bump here and there and it's incredibly annoying. I also really hate the stubble and am currently trying to find a method or a product that will leave my face smooth and stubble free. I remember reading about some cream that's supposed to not only remove hairs but keep it from growing back thicker, and actually thins it as well. I cannot remember the name, but I will post back here if I can find it.
First of all I want to say I can't even begin to imagine what your going through and I really feel for you. Have you seen a doctor about it ? There I most probably a reason behind the hair growth. Could be hormonal or sometimes polycystic ovaries can be the cause. Once you seek medical assistance behind the problem you can then start to think about what treatment would be suit your problem. No shaving your face is never a good Idea for a woman, psychologically its a killer too. Epilating will hurt ...I'm imagining. I really do think u need to get to the bottom of the problem first xxx good luck xxx
Also...on your face ...I'd be careful about using a home laser kit !!! They are not the same and your not a trained specialist...and that's no disrespect. What may work for others may not work for you xxx
Hi, I just want to say your so brave for speaking about such issues, I can imagine it can't be easy. Have you considered threading? I would say its definitely the best form of getting your hair out without leaving marks as the hair gets taken out from the routes. Find out locally any place or salon that offer this treatment, I think you will surely love the result. I also agree you need to speak to a professional about the reason behind the bumps... Hope I've been some help:-)
I actually just came across an article the other taking talking about women shaving their facial hair, it said that you should not use a regular razor but instead use an eyebrow blade to shave off the hair or get it professionally done at a spa...I'm gonna see if I could find the link for the article
