I've been wanting a pair for almost a year now but I've been putting it off so much because of the price. I need a new pair of shoes for a trip to DC I'm going on and one person suggested the Tieks Ballet flats. (Ill probably not wear them the entire time at DC just for something more dressy than my sneakers when we go out to lunch/dinner) BUT will definitely wear them loads and loads every other day when I'm not walking miles and miles around the Nation's Capital. lol. I was wondering if anyone has a pair and would like to share their experiences and if they are actually worth the steep price. I think that I would get the plain matte black leather ones.

I wear my sisters all the time and though they are comfortable the front of the show is short so you can see my "toe cleavage" and that's a bit weird. I would never buy them for my own though, I feel like there are many comfortable pairs of flats besides Tieks.

Shawna, yes I suggested Tieks. Cos I'm using it nonstop amd I swear by it. The comfort level is excellent for me. Easy to pack cos it's foldable. It has a bag to store the shoes so you don't have to put it in a separate bag. It's leather. As for pics here it is.

It comes with that blue box like Tiffany-ish box with a bow! Cute. And it has a bag to store shoes in your purse if you prefer to carry it around you. Plus a handwritten note. So sweet of them though.

Ramsha, I understand. For some people the toe cleavage shows for some don't. Mine is fine. The comfort level is just amazing. I always travel so wearing flats is a must esp during security scan.

Thank you so much Mylene! It was your comment on my last thread that made me rethink them again. Thank you for the more in-depth review on them!!

I always have a pair of Tieks in my backpack, I work in Chicago and when I'm running from one location to another for meetings I pull my heels off and slip them on, saves my feet big time and puts less wear on my more expensive heels. They are truly worth the money, I've tried some less expensive brands and while they are disable they don't have the same comfort level and don't last as long. Tieks really are a good investment if you are on the go a lot.
