So I've been contemplating purchasing new extensions for about a year now, I've only used clip in's before but I'm looking into tapes lately. Which do you girls prefer when you get permanent extensions and is washing your hair difficult? Thanks you girls, any other information would be super useful as well :)

I only use clip ins now , I had tapes in and micro beads and girl let me say they are hard work lol you can't wash your hair how you want and you have to take care of them more than what you would do to your own hair I guess it's personal preference & tapes did do a bit of damage to my hair

I should not say any damage because anything you do to your hair is going to cause some damage lol.

I don't know if me and bre are talking about the same thing but I had glue ins and I couldn't wash my hair weave or my real hair obviously because it was under braided up. I didn't like it because it looked really fake to me. I mean it all depends who does it and the hair but I didn't like it. It got ichy and only last about a month or two

Okay! Thanks so much girls, I think I'll stick to clips then haha! I'm not keen to cause any more breakage, etc. Just was thinking about it as they're in the same sort of price range. :) I actually found a pair of clip ins that're my colour nearby so if I get those it'll be next week, exciting haha :3.

My mum uses clip ins but she had glue ins and she couldn't take care of them properly so her natural hair and the extensions went straw like and she had to rip them out. I would recommend clip ins based on that.

Thanks so much girls :)
Definitely just going for the clip ins, was just tempting to know there was the possibility of trying something new but I've never had problems with clip ins any other time so I'll stick to that lol :p
