I work on a college campus and today I saw a student who'd drawn the most amazing heart shaped lips. I was inspired. Wow, this is really tough. It took a long time to get it even and it sort of smeared a bit while I was taking the photo. How do you guys get the perfect lips? I touched up a lot with pointed q-tips, foundation and concealer. Products used aquaphore to prime lips, Rimmel exxagerate lip liner in Red Diva, Wet N Wild megalast in Stoplight Red.

I agree with Miss Adahli, we can't really see the shape of your lips at all :) that being said, it's a very nice picture!

Did you use a lip primer and lip pencil?

I can see the difference from your profile and this picture, both looks look great (: You rock it! I usually just cover my lips with concealer and line them slightly smaller and more heart shaped, and fill them in with lipstick. (And touch ups afterwords with more of the products used) It actually doesn't look unnatural suprisingly, I do this pretty much every time I do a bold lip because it stands out, and I also like the trend in Korea I believe? Where your lip is pale but there is a lip stain in the center. For example, if you were eating a popsicle stick. Playing with the lips is fun for me, lol.

I will try to upload a front angle picture. I was trying to show the sides of the lip, and how I took down the shape of my natural lip, which is more of a straight line across.
Meghan, I didn't really prime, per se, I used aquaphore to seal my lips against the horror that is the texture of Wet N Wild lipsticks. I love the color so much but they just suck the life out of me. Then I used a lipliner.
I think I just need to practice. I can't imagine doing this every time I wear a bold lip color.
