I have thin and extremely slippery hair. If I would try to make more looser waves, it wouldn't work. Do you have any ideas for my problem?

I would try putting in over night no heat curlers or rolls or if that doesn't work the best solution would be to curl your hair very curler and hairspray it and it will fall out as the day goes on

Hair spray before and after will do the trick.

You can curl it and then bobby pin it and apply a lot of spray..do it with all your hair and then whenever you have to leave your house you take the bobby pins off

Curl your hair pretty tightly, then immediately put that piece, following the curl you made into a Bobby pin , also tightly to your head. do that with all your hair and when you are finished hair spray and leave it in for as long as you can. usually 30 minutes works for me. once you take it out of the Bobby pin for me it usually holds for about 2 days.

I have the opposite problem. my hair doesn't stay straight and I love the way straight hair looks on me, but it waves up throughout the day.

I'd suggest after a shower apply mouse but don't comb it out. Heat dry or air dry don't matter then divide it up into manageable sections, comb ONLY the small piece of hair your curling. Once you let go of the curl off your rod cup it in your hand until cool, then gently let it down. Once your done the section spray with extra firm hold hair spray and continue to the next section. I curled my babysitters hair for her brothers grad and her and her parents said it wouldnt hold for more than an hour, I did her hair this way and it was still curled into the next day when she came to sit for me. Also who really has that many bobby pins? I obly do on the day I buy them, then my house eats them ip leaving me three haha.

Katelyn the mouse on wet hair prior to drying should help keep your hair straight too.. Try it and let me know how it works :)

I have the same problem. I've had it since I was a teen. the thing that works best for me is heatless curls. and the hold well all day.
