My skin used to be super oily before I knew how to control the oil, dry skin was never my problem. My skin started to become oily/combination, pretty normal skin for the past 2 years, skin routines had been working out great.. Idk what it is about this winter, but goodness my skin has gotten so incredibly dry :( my hands were so dry that my knuckles were red & rough. Fixed it by wearing a lot more lotions than usual, problem for that has been solved & they feel soft again.. Now with my face, I've tried the same thing & I still get those really dry spots around the area next to the nose/mouth & the inner corner of my cheeks where my pores are more prominent. Even if barely wearing makeup, the little dry areas make the makeup look so caked even tho I moisturized & primed my face. I've tried exfoliating (once a week) definitely have tried out the same lotions & creams that worked for my hands.. But still nothing that helps those areas:( right now I just finished my night routine, my skin feels very soft.. Just not so much on those spots /: the amount of water I drink has been bumped up.. Still😞 can anyone recommend me some excellent face creams that work for you if you've had dry skin? Please and thank you!💕💗

My skin has also been dying this year in the winter lol. My hands are soooo dry and I'm getting dry patched on my face. I've also developed eczema which I never had before. I use an extremely gentle cleanser that doesn't dry out my skin. (Simple Skincare Gel Cleanser). I then tone my face with their toner and I use The Body Shops Aloe Vera Day Cream which is very moisturizing and gentle on the skin. Exfoliating is definitely good for your skin as well. Also try a face mask a couple times a week. I've done avocado and honey, and I've also done yoghurt and honey and sometimes mix some olive oil in it. Make sure you're not allergic to any of those before trying them on your face. As a base for your makeup check out The Body Shops Vitamin C Boost. It's insanelyyyyyy silky smooth. You use it over your moisturizer and it acts as an amazing primer for makeup. You may want to even consider looking into these tablets called "Evening Primrose Oil". You can take about 1-4 a day (orally) and it's known to improve your skin and fights dryness as well as eczema. I've even broken the tablets and used them on my skin. I've never heard of any bad side effects but always check with your doctor if it's okay to be taking these. Over time they're really good for your skin and hair. They can be found at the health food store.

I've been washing my face with the Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil and it has been really helping with dryness. my face feels clean and sooooo soft and moisturized after I use it. Plus it gets all of my makeup off. I got it from Sephora.
