What can I use to help get rid of it? Any home remedies or anything else that would help. I have tired a lot of different shampoos and none of them work. Thanks in advance.

First of all are you using hot water, if you are that can dry your scalp. Use Luke warm water when shampooing and rising the hair. Also the type of shampoo and conditioner. Store brands tend to have dry factors to them.
Coconut oil works good. Shampoo your hair and put the oil on but massage it in to to your scalp and leave it in over night. Put a shower cap on or sleep on a towel so you don't mess up your pillow. Then shampoo it out in the morning with luke warm water. Also washing your hair everyday can dry it out and your scalp. Try to go every other day to three days in between washes

Have you tried T-Gel shampoo from Neutrogena? It smells awful, but worked great for me.

If you haven't tried Lush's squeaky green solid shampoo, you should look at that one. It's supposed to calm stressed scalp. It has tea tree oil, chamomile but more for oily hair with dry scalp. They also have soak and float which smells weird but it really seems worth a try if you don't have oily hair.

Oh and not too much shampooing or too much product (dry shampoo+mousse+hairspray+volumizer etc) can cause dryness of the scalp.

Pureology has super nourishing shampoos and conditioners. I use the one in a purple bottle, it's for colour treated hair but I've never dyed my hair in my whole life... I just find it super moisturizing and awesome in general!
