Ok so I am on YouTube 24/7 and I always see lip tar in tutorials and before I spend the money I want to see what you think! So what do you think of the lip tar? What's your fave shade?

I love mine! It is very pigmented. My only complaint is it gets everywhere until it dries the first time. I have role play (a classic red metallic color) and I want to get pool boy. Ps they are all natural so they do spoil.

Cocoa, she means the OCC Lip Tars.

I used to want some but when I swatched one on my hand at Sephora it didn't dry and smeared everywhere. I wasn't impressed.

I have three... I have the Metallic Black Dahila, NSFW in Matte and Pretty Boy. I love them, you only need a pin drop amd you're set. I have full lips that are always dried out and theyve never looked dry on my lips. I love that they come in these tubes where you squeeze them out, you can create your own colors. Theyre definitely not for everyone, girls who like to do their lips quickly and spend less than 5 minutes on make up may not find them conveniant. But as a make up enthusiast who loves color and creating my own I think they're fun! I don't recommend getting the sets since I havent seen a lot of people content with them compared to the singles. I love the shades of red they have, they're beautiful.

If you do get lip tar , wear lip gloss because if you don't it'll start drying out..

I love mine and don't find them to dry out my lips. I would suggest you get a sample at Sephora before making a purchase to make sure you like them. Not everyone likes the peppermint smell so test it out before committing.

Alexis, I swatched some OCC Lip Tars at sephora also.
Yes, matte Lip Tars take a while to dry but they do dry very matte.
You just have to be patient, once they dry they dry beautifully.

I loooove mine, I've got about 10! They do take a bit longer to dry but that's why you ensure that you only use a TINY amount and apply a thin layer, I literally use the minimal amount and it'll cover my lips completely, if anything I'll go back for a tiny bit more on the edges. I have super dry lips 24/7 and they're always either wind burnt or sun burnt from snowboarding haha but these don't accentuate that or make my lips feel tight :)

Very very very messy. But very pigmented! Endless color range. Pretty much if you're experienced with makeup, then yes! If not, you'll hate these with a burning passion. The stain and feather like crazy.

There is definitely a learning curve involved when it comes to application. I know the first time out I applied way too much and was a disaster. Some shades actually perform better than others and some are more drying than the next. I love them overall and I really need to revisit the dozen or so that I currently have. What's also nice about them is that they can double as a cream blush.

Use a little bit and build up. also of you like that matte finish it may work for you. it dried my lips out to much for my liking.
