I don't have freckles but I have acne. I use mac studio fix fluid foundation (nc15) and studio fix powder foundation (c2).
I have great coverege but I still have to use concealer (maybelline fit me 15).

I currently use the rimmel stay matte and it's not to bad but it can sometimes come out looking very cakey! I've seen so many good reviews about the true match I'll have to give it a try :)

Omg I am with you girl I have very light skin and freckles sometimes I don't even wear foundation because I can never find the right shade! I recommend the urban decay naked skin I think it's called but you have to put a translucent powder over it.

The Naked Skin is good, you just have to build up coverage if you want to cover up your freckles. I have that one and I love it, but your freckles will still peak through. The color stay whipped is actually really good coverage when you use a flat top kabuki.

I really like my Nars Sheer Glow. You can build up the opacity and it doesn't feel caked on, especially if you have dry skin. I go back and forth between Siberia and Gobi, since they both match different parts of me. I'm very pale with brown freckles.
