Hi there!
Personally, I'm eager to purchase HanZa brushes kit for myself. It looks decent and has amazing reviews https://womentake.com/best-airbrush-for-makeup/. The brushes are reviewed to be extremely soft. Any experience with using these brushes? A good friend of mine who has recently bought the HanZa set says she has NEVER had such an easy time blending highlight and contour

I purchased a Dinair in 2011 and have regretted it ever since. The make up is water based and for me looks blotchy and doesn't wear well. I tried temptu makeup (silicone based) with the dinair airbrush and it is too thick for it, but oh man is it BEAUTIFUL! Can't afford the temptu right now, but wish I'd gone with it in the first place. I have dry, mature skin and dinair did nothing for it. The temptu however gave me a glow and I had SO many compliments! Do it right the FIRST time - Temptu!

Hi Emma
That's good to know. I will have to pay as I don't have a pro card so it does get expensive. I think getting to London isn't too bad so I may well go if it is worth it - looks good :)

Hi Sarah it is well worth going to the Imats in London. Book your tickets and train tickets in advance cause it is pricey, but its well worth it. I really enjoy the seminars that's what got me interested in airbrush in the first place. Hope to see you there!

Definitely don't want orange, that's never a good look!

I'm currently using OCC foundations and Dinair's foundations and compressor. I've previously used Luminess compressor which is fine but I don't care for the foundations - too orange for me.

Basically it is makeup that is sprayed onto the skin using an airbrush rather than using traditional sponges etc. It is often used by pros and for film, theatre etc but now there are some kits people can buy to use on themselves or clients. It can last longer than traditional make-up and can also look more natural and good under certain lights, why it is often used in film, photos etc. There are quite a few tutorials on You Tube and some of the manufacturers have videos on their websites showing how the products are used.

I am still deciding whether I will go to IMATs in London - I am not yet a 'professional' so don't have a card etc. It does sound tempting tho..... :-)

@Sarah S. At IMATS London you will get discount. That's what I am waiting for myself.
Although I am not sure how much of a discount. Some fellow muas have told me its anything between 10-40% on all the different brands which is amazing! I can't wait! :) x

Hi - thanks for all the replies - good to hear all the feedback. Interested to hear that you got the Dinair one in the UK Emma M, I am not a pro (yet) and thought of getting a starter kit either Dinair or Luminess to practice and then perhaps Temptu later. But I had so much good feedback on Temptu I am undecided on whether I should spend the extra if there is a chance it will last longer? I was also interested to hear that the Dinair is good for oily skin - mine is combination/sensitive but I have to be very wary with some make up whichi is too heavy, as it clogs my pores and causes breakouts. Thought about going to IMATs at London but am not sure yet as it's the money - do you get any savings on equipment? Alisa and Emma mentioned the pods and I thought that as well - if you can't mix the colour etc it seems to limit what you can do with it. It was interesting to hear Julie's feedback about the make up though for Dinair. I really want natural looking make up but for sensitive skin but also which lasts for a long time, like the equipment as well.

I have been using the Dinair system for two years now.... I like the makeup and the paramedical makeup.... I am now starting to have problems with it...it's clogging... Pros... The makeup looked beautiful in hd and photos.... I am now going to try temptu pro system!!!

Don't bother with temptu pods, they clog ridiculously among other already mentioned problems I am not gonna bother repeating. I use an Iwata system with temptu sb products and am very much liking the results! the compressor and gun were sold seperately, are extremely easy to work with and care for and the temptu makeup lasts nicely, mixes and applies well, and overall gets my two thumbs up. Dinair system was ok and their makeup was ok, but I prefer what I am working with now :)

The problem with the pods is as far as I know you cannot mix colours as they are already in pod form and the gun can only be used with pods.
Sorry for the late reply Sarah, I'm in Australia but we have a shop called "hub makeup" and I got a good beginner kit from them, with a gun, compressor, makeup and cleaning equipment.

I am based in the Uk and bought the Dinair from spray tan pro. They shipped it very quickly and the price is the best in the Uk also. I do like the system and make-up which is great on oily skin. I am using the temptu sb in another airbrush system off ebay which is okish but will be saving to buy the Temptu kit at the imats also. Dinair for me is a great starter kit. I think it is good if working towards being an airbrush pro to offer both sb and wb airbrush makeup.
