My hair has been short pretty much all my life and I want to grow it out but my hair grows extremely slow. Any products, or advice on how to make it grow faster.

Use hair masks maybe once a week. If you don't want to buy a hair mask you can put coconut oil in your hair before a shower, leave it in for a while and then wash it out! Also use sulfate free shampoos and conditioners. I hope this helps!!

You might want to massage your scalp before you wash your hair.

There are the Lee Stafford masks, shampoos and conditioners. I didn't use them long enough to notice hair growth, but my hair felt soooo soft and healthy afterwards, so it sets you hair up nicely for growth. just remember to get regular trims every 1-2 months or when you notice split ends. If you keep doing this, before you know it your hair will have grown more than you think :)

I cut my hair, and after years of trying to grow it out, it managed to get SHORTER. In the past few months I've grown 4-5 inches! :)
•Try to cut heat out with heatless hairstyles. (Braids, buns, heatless waves)
•DO NOT wash it everyday
•Use a large tooth comb rather than a brush
•I love moroccan argon oil to keep hair healthy
•BE PATIENT :)

Hair growth is 100% completely based off genetics, but you can control how healthy your hair is when it does grow out and prevent you from needing trims often (I can go about a year without needing a trim)

> Use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. It doesn't have to cost $50, but just something like L'Oreal EverStrong works!
> Don't wash your hair every day. It strips it from its natural oils needed to keep your hair healthy and moisturized. I wash mine 2-3x a week and use a dry shampoo in between washes.
> Don't be afraid to use oils or hair masks! I know putting oil in your hair can be kind of scary, but if applied only to your ends (not the scalp), it will leave your hair nice and moisturized while not being too greasy.
> Don't put too many products in. It will weigh the hair down and make it greasy faster.
> Limit heat. I do heatless curls and styles so I rarely use heat. When using heat, use a heat protectant.
> Use a wide tooth comb or wet brush to brush your hair out.
> Don't get trims too often. I used to trim my hair every week pretty much (only a very very very little amount) Though, you'll never have split ends, it won't be getting longer because every time it grows, you cut it off.
> Don't take any pills or vitamins without consulting a doctor first.

There are many more tips out there that I can't think of at the moment, but those are pretty much the basics. Just be patient and your hair will grow out in no time!
