So I've been using acetone, but it isn't the pure acetone stuff. It has like oils and other stuff in it, and it's been working fine for me. When I went to buy more, the lady at the store said I have to use pure acetone without other stuff in it. But I've heard pure acetone is bad because it dries out skin. Is there really a difference between the two?

As long as you moisturize properly you'll be fine. Pure acetone makes the removal process much easier, but if you're able to remove the gel with something else then stick with it!

As long as it ttakes the gel off I don't see a problem..

And yes pure acetone is drying. It might work faster too then a nonpure one.

I was using pure acetone for awhile to remove my nail polish but it seemed like when I would my nails got a lot weaker and would break more often.
