Can anyone suggest good tanning oils?! I'm going to the cottage in a few days and look forward to taming alllll day and looking really for when school starts up.

Olive oil and baby oil works crazy well and leave skin super soft. It also doesn't have the chemicals that other products have. Just be careful not to burn.

When I went out tanning, I seriously just lathered up in olive oil. Either way, it helps you tan faster and attracts the sun! If you burn easily, don't use oil because you will burn. I don't even burn easily at all and I accidentally fell asleep outside while I was tanning and 3 hours later my chest was slightly burnt. If you burn easily it would be worse and you won't tan. My skin peeled on my chest and it was white underneath. Ugh. I start school tomorrow haha! When do you start? Just curious (;

I don't suggest any oils, and I would suggest a sun block instead and just get a fake tan.
Tanning is such a high risk for cancer.. I know at a young age it seems like it doesn't matter, but those who tanned as a teen/young adult are almost guaranteed cancer of some kind. It's not a light subject.

I do agree with Alyx, but don't go to tanning beds. I like self tanners. My favorite is Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer

Yeah, a good tan isn't worth getting cancer for
Use sunscreen and protect yourself, and get a good self tanner

Every person, both male and female, that rocked tans growing up look 10 years older now..if not more..and a few developed skin Cancer. We won't even get into the uneven, dark spots they struggle with.
Gradual tanners have come a long way and personally designed spray tans by the pros are a better, safer option.
That saud, it is a personal choice and I'm not going to deny you the right to enjoy tanning. Many find the sun relaxing...so if you insist on laying out, I urge you to avoid straight up oils and keep in mind that even with a lower SPF, you are going to see tanning occur..so seek a product that provides at least some level of protection so you don't end up burned or peeling.
But I still don't think it's a good idea. :/
