So I put off washing my makeup brushes for way too long and they are in desperate need of a good washing. But the problem is I was in accident a few days ago and broke my wrist?? I know this is a weird question but does anyone have any tips on how to wash makeup brushes with only one hand? Thanks a bunch lovelies!!

I think if you get a small plate put a little bit a soap or shampoo (I use my shampoo) wet the brush and gently swirl it in the plate then rinse and repeat until you have a clean brush. It takes a while doing each brush individually and with one hand but they'll get clean.

I was watching a dr show and they suggested to soak them in vinegar

I don't think soaking them in vinegar works. Plus, vinegar kind of stinks. I would use a bar of soap and swirl my brush on it and then rinse and keep doing that until it's done. Then hang them over the sink to dry.

The vinegar does give the brushes a vinegar scent but it does clean them and also it's like an antiseptic

Some people have said you can get like small rubber plates with ridgesand dots on them. you work the brushes over them to get them clean. I think they have them on eBay for less than 60p (about $1). there was also a tutorial on YouTube where one was made with a hot glue gun. hope your hand gets better soon!! :)

Baby shampoo works best imo.
