My hair has been red for a while but the color has stopped taking and is now just an auburn. I was thinking of switching it up and getting A different color. Any suggestions? Also I don't think I want to bleach my hair to platinum blonde but I am willing to lighten it, I'm just afraid to damage it too bad.

If you don't want to lighten it, you could wait until late August/early September to darken your hair to a deep wine color or cherry-burgundy-black?

No no no!! Don't lighten it! Your hair looks great darker because of your darker makeup and it just looks like it suits your personality better. It's damaging too especially for people with dry hair. Maybe a deep wine color like Natalie suggested! I kind of like the red/purple undertones on you (:

Katelyn, I planned on keeping it dark because I don't think I would look good with light hair but I meant lightening it if I were putting an unnatural color over it such as a dark purple or a dark blue or something, so it would show better. I probably should've explained more. Natalie, do you maybe have an example?
