So about three weeks ago I decided I wanted to go blonde and I know if you want to go blonde you must have patience. I have dyed my hair on several occasions but took a break for about two years. I found the perfect set of extensions that wouldn't be a super light blonde due to my skin tone. I decided to use L'Oreal Technique exellence Hi color Blondes for dark hair only it is used for virgin hair which by two years the dark brown hair I had grown out was virgin. I also have a set hair car regimen I use Brazilian hair oils Moroccan oil as well as an Argan oil treatment once a week. I used a 30 volume developed with it and let it sit for 30 minutes and this is the color I received , I knew it wasn't going to be there on my first try, I then waited three weeks and during those three weeks I nourished my hair with everything in the book. Once the three weeks rolled around I went back to Sally's and got the same brand of dye but in H15 Honey ginger because I noticed the red tones in the extensions I used 30 vol. Salon Creme developer and this is the color I now have. What can I do to fix it and adjust it to the color of my extensions would the T14 toner be enough and not a brassy orange I feel like carrot top :(

SIDE NOTE : I have also purchased the Ion Cool Blonde weekly blonde boosting treatment. Will that help or is it just going to make my hair too ash blonde

Well to counter act the Orange, you can do a purple conditioner for ten minutes. I just buy the purple dye and mix with your normal conditioner and leave for ten minutes. This needs to be done every month to control the brass ones. For the actual color you have, that's not light enough to match the extension, that's pretty darn blonde and you might need to do another Dye. But try the purple conditioner to see how your hair looks once the Orange is counteracted.
