I need Opinions please :) I want Dimple piercings SOOO bad!!...but I'm afraid of what it would do to my skin.does it get infected? do the scars go away?. also not sure if it suits mee??...should I get em?

I don't think it would get infected as long as you clean it well but I do a couple of non-facial piercings and my only warning would be the skin right around my piercings get really dry ams itchy sometimes but after a couple days of moisturizers the skin looks fine.

Honestly I recommend you go to a super experienced and passiante piercer. I was once in a shop and a girl was all infected and stuff and the piercer explained everything to her and it was basically her old piercers fault for not explaining things.

Oh and most scars fade away if you moisturize them properly , so even if it does scare you could probably get them to mostly fade away

With dimple piercings the scars will not go away. the whole point of those piercings if you don't already have dimples is to make the effect of dimples so when you take them out a lot of time people have giant hole looking scars in their face that resemble nothing of a dimple. you can google dimple piercing scars so you can see what they look like. there are also a few videos of people warning against them. I wouldn't do it, that's a scar for life.

Honestly it's up to you if want them or not but just be really informed and make sure you piercer knows what they're doing if you get them because those are incredibly easy to mess up.

More than likely you will get scars I still have mine (from 2 monroe piercings I had, different times of course)but they were both from 4-6 years ago. they're both really faded tho, but one just a teeny weeny bit more noticeable than the other. I think the one I got professionally is like almost gone the other one (by friend) is the one that's a tad noticeable

Like Justine said, dimple piercings make it look like you have dimples (if you already don't) when you take them out. I personally don't like them. Too many people use it as an "advantage" I guess so they can PRETEND they were born with dimples. If you have some already and aren't afraid of having holes in your cheeks I'd say go for it. But they will leave you scarred without proper care. I had a friend who had them pierced and they got infected. Although it made the dimples she ALREADY had deeper, she had ugly scars now.

My mom has dimple piercings. She's had them for two years now. These scars do NOT go away, that's the whole point of them lol. Personally, I think the after math of them are ugly, they look cute in, but out they don't even look like actual dimples haha just look like an indent in the skin.
