This may seem like a personal problem but for the past couple of days I've had some true beauty questions and posted the forums on here but for days I've had no response. I know that some of the forums need some help to start the talk going but even the moderators haven't commented. I don't mean to be rude but this just bugs me and hopefully this problem can be addressed and solved. If anyone has any advice on how I can help the forums get some talking then that would also be appreciated.

Honestly sometimes this happens and threads don't necessarily show up at all times. It has been brought to the attention of the team, we'll have to wait and see what they say. I'm so sorry this has been happening!

We don't have a large team constantly on the forums. I welcome you guys to ask me any questions on my profile though! I would love to help resolve any questions I can!

This has happened to me for months now. So I feel your pain! It gets to the point that I don't even want to start a post anymore. Luckily, on my most recent post a moderator helped me out and it brought some attention to my thread. But I know for me it is very frustrating.

When I try to post a thread this comes up. I mean the question was 4-6 sentences long and it still won't let me post it.

Oh and while we're at it I wanna ask youguys that why can't I see everyone's videos? I can only see some of Jennifer C's. and Shannon H's. It's frustrating. Please help.

Soha, it looks like what is happening from your picture is that your putting your comments in the "title" section. See how this thread is titled "beautilish what's going on?" You would put the title of your thread in that section and what you would like to talk about in more detail underneath the button that says "topic". If it still shows this error all you have to do is just add a bit more description to your title. I know this is frustrating for you as it happened to me when I first got the app as well but hope that helps a bit

I don't usually get responses either. I kind of stopped using beautylish because it's been getting on my nerves & I even tried to ask a moderator if she could help & she didn't even bother responding or helping me. Don't understand why someone picked her as a moderator if their supposed to help but oh well. Beautylish will probably end up going down on people joining.. There's so many problems & it's hard to find things.

Soha I would suggest adding some comments in the bottom section then retrying to post. If that doesn't work then definitely email the beautylish team. I agree with all you ladies, I have been on this app less and less because I find that the real questions aren't being answered and the sillier ones (personal opinion) get tons of comments

@Savannah...I'm sorry if you felt neglected in your pursuit of getting your concerns addressed. I can only speak for myself but outside of being a BL mod I'm a 41 year old mom of three who attends grad school and is a domestic violence advocate. Often times I can't drop everything I'm doing to monitor this site every single day. That's why there is more than one mod. Plus all of us mods are living in different time zones. I personally help when I can and to the best to my ability.
@Bridgette...I totally understand your frustration about the silly questions getting pushed more up in the rank while the more engaging real questions get kicked to the wayside. Its been a big thorn in my side as well. I will say that the app version is limited in the number of posts to be seen while on the computer model one gets to see all the questions posted. Trust me...there are times when I've been out in the field and actually had to pull out my lap top to monitor user activity because the app version doesn't show everything.

I've had some of the same issues (ie, legitimate questions or a rare MOTD being ignored, but some users post essentially the same MOTD every single day and getting tons of responses). But I'd like to add that a few of the moderators (including the two who posted here) are quite good at jump-starting posts for users. I will admit that Beautylish can be kind of cliquey, but the mods are really good at being inclusive. I've also found that commenting and helping on other people's threads will make your threads get more answers. The more active you are on the app, the more people will respond to your questions. Also, and this may just come from my background in journalism, make sure the titles are catchy and unique. More people will read your questions if the title makes them curious.

The pleas enter a more descriptive topic title has happened to me. Just copy the question enter a different title paste teh question in and it should be fine XD.
