I am going to New York at the end of September to meet my in-laws and want to simplify my morning process. They're very low maintenance, so I want to keep everything very simple when I visit for simplicity sake. I'm looking for a foundation that will better match the texture of my skin and be very long lasting without being heavy. I'm also looking for a nude lipstick. Here is a pictorial of my daily routine. Let me know any tips possible that I can condense my process and/or have it possibly come out looking better!

This is going counter clockwise. The first picture on the left is me bare faced with my brows slight filled in with NYX Micro brow pencil in Black :/ I do have slightly sunken in eyes, which I've come to terms with because it's hereditary.

Picture 2 (bottom far left): I put Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer in Deep Honey above and below my eyebrows using a concealer brush to blend it in. I also put three dots directly from the applicator underneath each eye, three dots from the applicator above my lips and on various dark spots on my cheeks (my skin is darker around my chin area). I blended all this in with a concealer brush.

Picture 3 (bottom right, I mixed up the pictures DX): I put Beneift Watt's Up in an upside down triangle on my above and on my cheek bones and used my finger to blend it in. Afterwards, I placed a generous amount of Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in Calypso Coral on my cheek bones with a make-up sponge and blended it in. I like to do this under my foundation to create a more natural finish. If I do it above the different textures are very visible against my skin.

Picture 4 (bottom middle :P ): I put on Clinique stay-matte oil-free foundation using my fingers and gently dabbed to blend it in.

Picture 5 (top right): I added Kat Von D's Leather shadow from the True Romance Eye Shadow Palette all over my lids and blended it out. I then put a little under my bottom lash line. I used Stila's Stay All Day waterproof liquid eyeliner to create my wing and lastly applied Maybelline Pumped Up! Colossal Volum' Express mascara to my top and bottom lashes (2 coats on my top lashes making sure to let it dry inbetween and a light coat on the bottom lashes.)

Excuse my hair, I was letting it air dry before putting it up.

This foundation creases very heavily in my laugh lines within minutes of wearing it. It also doesn't do well once I start sweating.

I love the last picture of you, and think if you took out doing your liner,it would lighten up your look. And save time : ) Have you looked into any of the NYX soft matte lippys? Or Lorac Alter Ego lipstick in Secret Agent? That may be a really pretty nude on you. Your foundation looks great, what did you use? Have you thought of using a bb cream?

Hi, Monica! I was beginning to think my post got lost in the ocean of content. I can't imagine not using eyeliner, my eyes don't really stick out otherwise. It also only takes me 30 seconds to do. I love the NYX Soft Matte line! I haven't found a good nude for me in it though. The Secret Agent is beautiful, I will be running out to get it! You're the best! I used Clinique Stay Matte Liquid Foundation in Ginger. I have used a BB cream before, Garnier, but the staying power really sucked. Do you have any recommendations?

Hi Seeta! I know how it feels when no sees your thread! It took me a long time to like a bb cream. Finally I found the Maybelene dream pure bb cream. It has 2% saliclic acid (I know I didn't spell that right ) in it. So it helps prevent my acne getting worse and seems to have good staying power. and I use the stay matte spray from NYX.
