Oil as a moisturizer?

Does using oil as a moisturizer actually work? What are the benefits?
I have normal skin, so what would be the best type to use?

Well I would use a facial oil. they go deep in your skin to renew it.

I sometimes use pure argan oil or pure jojoba oil, they work wonders, you may use two or three drops and apply it in your clean face.
