Dip Dye? or Stay Natural?

So I dip dyed my hair red on the ends ( my hair is brown ) and it stayed in for about 2-3 months without any problems. All dye obviously fades away after a while but, I don't know if I should do it again before school or stay with my natural hair color for the beginning of school?
What do you think?
