I cut my hair in the 6th grade which was a while back, but it's taken me 3 years to grow it out. I think long hair looks very good on you. I regretted cutting my hair so maybe do it slowly. Start by cutting off a few inches and if you like it then you can consider cutting off more or letting it grow back from there if you start missing longer hair.

I wouldn't change something just for the sake of change. Unless you've been wanting shorter hair for a while I would keep your long hair, it looks amazing and hair takes forever to grow back.

I'm a hair dresser and one thing I tell my clients to take into consideration when doing dramatic changes to their hair like this is to think if you can really handle it. By this I mean, if you have natural curly hair, I wouldn't recommend cutting it too short; for the sake of "poofy"ness - you might hate it on days you just want it to be natural. My hair was as long as your & I cut it up to my shoulders. It's naturally curly and at first I regretted it so much because I didn't like it at all when I just wanted to leave it natural. After a few weeks I fell in love though. But if that's your natural in the photo I think it'd be okay. I personally think you'd look super cute with an A-line haircut. It'd fit your face nicely if you really want to go short.

If you want to keep it long and say add in some long layers or face framing.

I think you should keep it long but add some front bangs!
