Versa pro spray tan.

I got a spray tan today and my salon doesn't use mystic tan anymore they use Versa which I've never used before. Does anybody know how long I should wait before putting any type of lotion on? To prolong the time between spray tans I use the Jergens daily gradual tanning lotion. I can't find any answers online other than not to shower for 6 to 24 hrs depending on how deep I want the color to be. If anybody has a clue please let me know. Thank you ladies!

I would wait like 6ish-8 hours :) Or maybe just until the tan doesn't feel tacky at all anymore - when I do level 1 that's in like 2 hours, if I do level 3 that's in like...3 weeks hahaha. I'm not absolutely sure though, that's just what I have been doing lol :) I get versa tans 3x a week and have been thinking about switching to mystic actually lol! there's a place closer by my apartment that has mystic :) How did you like it?

From what I can tell after just one session in the versa, it's not streaky like the mystic sometimes would be. The mystic tan doesn't have that heated dryer cycle so you have to blot off excess spray which can lead to uneveness. Also the Versa seems to be a finer mist which seems to cover more evenly and doesn't result in any drips at all. The Versa also developed quicker.

Depending on the amount of time and gas you'd save, I'd probably stick with the Versa. All in all I think it's much better. 3 times a week?! God I can barely afford once a week. It's $40 per session but the LA Tan by my house has a $10 special on Mondays so I try to drag mine out a week the best I can lol!

The full developing time is 8 hours (you won't gain any more color after 8 hours)after that time you can shower/put on lotion.

Thank you so much! I think I will definitely stick with Versa :)
I keep hearing good / bad things about both but I haven't come across anyone who has actually had both...until you :) So I extra value your opinion haha!

And omg 40$ is expensive! I pay $64 and it is unlimited for the month, which is why I go so often. Figure I will get my money's worth lol! If you happen to have a "Darque Tan" near you, that is the place I go with the monthly promotion :)

Thanks Tiffany. The website says to wait longer but that you CAN shower after 6 hrs. That's good to know bc I couldn't wait for a shower lol it is too damn humid!
