Honestly the whole Colourpop craze is getting a little bit overdone in my opinion. I've heard both good and bad reviews of these, but honestly I'd just stick with formulas you know you like. It's a lot easier to spend $150 on products that cost $6 than it is to spend $150 on $20 products, and at least if you don't like the Kat Von D shades or whatever you can return them, you know? I consider it a waste of money to buy things you won't necessarily use just because they're cheaper. So personally I won't buy any of these :) I did just pick up Kat Von D's Ayesha yesterday and I brought it with me on this trip to wear! I'm very excited about it.

Ah okay that makes sense :) yeah, Kat Von D maybe isn't the best choice for neutral, daily wear kind of colors I suppose.

I have an order coming within the next week or two with some of their liquid lipsticks. If I like them then I'll pick up a few of the new colors. I like the bottom three & the purple.

I just received 5 of these. they are not awesome, but they are not terrible either. I wore one all day yesterday (ouiji) and it was awesome, didn't crack and stayed on all day. Then today I wore another color (donut) and it sucked. it cracked like crazy and just looked really dry. you have to be careful when applying. too thick of a coat and it's crack city. also they show off dry patches. if applied right then they wear great. I prefer their lippie sticks and lippie pencils.

Yeah I've heard mixed reviews about these, some have a better consistency and formula than others from what I've seen from others so far, I think it just depends on the shades you pick up. I've also seen a bad batch of the "trap" colour already so just keep in mind you may not get the exact colour you think you're paying for.

I heard the re-formulated! Apparently the first batch had too much of an alcohol like ingredient and now they are better! I'm hoping to get Beeper (the orange nude), Clueless (the pink), and the light blue one. I was okay with the "drying" formula but I love the idea of having nicer smoother ones 😍

The trick to wearing the ColourPop is that you can only apply one coat. it doesn't do well at all if you later it on, so you have one shot to apply it to your whole lip. if you coat it, it cracks
