I honestly find that viscerally unappealing and uncomfortable to look at. I understand some people enjoy it, but I simply cannot fathom creating nails to look like that.

I agree with Hannah, looking at it makes me uncomfortable. I image it would feel nice either.

So hump nails? Hm. uh. Okay I guess, but not for me.
I feel like I would continuously rub them since they're rounded. heh.
They're not all that bad. Just very..different. Almost look like marbles.

Actually I think they'd look pretty good if they were longer. Maybe? Length on nails always looks better.

Omg I just saw this the other day too. Its honestly so ugly... I feel the same was about it than I do duck nails.

Oh god, yea I've seen those, they're also called Bubble nails
And dear god they look hideous, in my opinion
I can't believe people like this

Definitely not for me.

They look like they would bother me so bad, I can barely handle regular fake nails lol.

I personally hate nails like that, they're too chunky, but I absolutely love looking at absurd nails that are in no way functional. It was all cool to have nails 3 inches long, then came nail bling lol. I'd never get them, but I love seeing how above and beyond people go with their nails. Like these. I don't know how she functions with daily things. I don't know how she'd even wash her hands without hurting herself, or how she gets dressed without snagging.

Personally I really don't like them at all, they look so uncomfortable... Almost sort of sickly, in my opinion.

They're most definitely not for me, but I looked up images of hump nails and apparently a handful of people like them! I don't understand how the acrylic would dry though. even with my fake nails now there seems to be some indentions in the acrylic and there's only one layer.

I feel like I would like it more if it was fully rounded, instead of square at the tip. It's like they glued candy to their fingernails. Bizarre.

That's kind of what my finger nail looked like for 6 weeks after I dropped a two-ton grate on it. Looking at them literally makes that finger start throbbing.

This style was happening when I was in highschool (1991-1992 to be exact). And girls even did this to their toenails as well. Can't believe its back. Yuck.

At first I thought this picture was showing a mistake someone made when they were doing their nails. They just look awful, and way too thick.

Yes they look like candy haha. I'm not a fan

Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder! I can't even imagine letting someone do this to my nails! I guess if people like piling makeup on their face and tons of hair extensions, then it was bound to end up on their nails.

I am kinda torn on this trend. Personally, I am not a fan. I live for practicality, which is why I hardly use 3D studs or crystals on my own nails or grow them out to stiletto length. But as a nail artist, I appreciate the creativity and the skill needed to create this effect! If someone asked me to apply acrylics like this to their nails, I wouldn't refuse. If they are a fan, good for them! But I would never have my own nails like this. Tamara is exactly right, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so if you like it, go ahead and have it done!

I'm not going to lie at first glance I thought she had glued bubble gum to her nails lol, especially on the lower hand. Not for me but to each their own.
