Right amount of makeup for a night out.

So I got this new brownish red, kinda dark lipstick and I tried pairing it with a winged black eyeliner and regular black mascara.

I thought it was a pretty nice look for a night out, however my mum told me she thought it was too much. What do you reckon? Unfortunately I do not have any pictures, cause my selfie skills are a kinda bad at the moment ;)

Hi Buttercup! I just have to point out that we both admire Audrey Hepburn given out profiles pictures haha! That's awesome!

Now to answer your question... I think that a simple gold eye would look really nice. I really like the bold lip very simple eyes. Maybe define your lash line with a darker shadow so it's not so intense as an eyeliner. Hope that helps!

There's no such thing as too much makeup for a night out! I went out tonight with my boyfriend and I piled it on :) if you know Butlins holiday parks (I'm just judging by the use of 'mum' not 'mom'), I'm going there next July with a couple of friends for a holiday and when wr go clubbing and to bars I fully intend on wearing loads!

Hannah, I actually don't, English is not my first language, but my teachers always insisted on what they called British English and I was an international student on the British isles so I adopted that ;)
Makeup wise, that is a great way of looking at it :) I think I'll keep that in my mind next time I go out :)
