I personally don't love lip piercings, but that's just me. It's just not my style, and it seems uncomfortable. At the same time if I saw someone pull it off well (taking care of it, having it suit their style) I would like it on them

I like them on one side personally. I find that when someone has snakebites it kinda takes over their whole face and takes away from their beauty. I'm not opposed to them at all. Just make sure you go to a good piercer and take care of the piercings.

Personally I don't like those type of hoops.
and I really don't like snake bites, I like more of spider bites.
I've never been been a fan of them.
it looks tacky imo with those type of hoops, I think they would maybe look good with just little studs.

I agree with les. I like studs or closed hoops. I don't think a lot of people can pull of those types of open hoops without instantly looking rough.
But get whatever piercing you want. As long as you go to a reputable place and take care of it, and you're happy, that's all that matters.
Personally I have my vertical labret done, and everyone in my life told me not too when I booked it, then I got it done and almost everyone who said they didn't like them was like "oh okay, it looks fine on you". Still judgey people who didn't need to tell me their opinion when I didn't ask, but I find people don't like them, until they see it on someone they already like. Or at least that was my experience.

I actually had snake bites with those type of rings and let me let you looking back on it know I regret it. But I also have two nice little scars on both sides of my lip. have you thought about other types of lip piercings? my personal favorite is the Medusa. it's cute and it doesn't really distract from your beauty.

On the right person I absolutely love them! I think it's unique and wonderful to stand out a little bit. Especially if you like them & you did your research to know what you're getting into, I say get them!

I don't really like snake bites personally, I prefer spider bites but I may be biased because I used to have spider bites lol. & I agree with studs instead of hoops, I think it looks so much better.

I think I would prefer them on one side to be honest. I find snakebites to be weird looking.
I think people have to be able to pull piercings off, and on those people I really, really like them :)

I've had lots of different types of lip piercings, angel bites, medusa, dahlias. I personally haven't ever been a fan of snake bites just because I find them very masculine, no offence to anyone that has them and some girls pull it off well but snake bites just weren't for me which is why I never got them. I'm all for piercings though, I don't think they take away from anyone's face though, some people just don't like piercings and they're the people who will say "why did you ruin your face" etc.

Thank you everyone for your insight! I'll definitely heed to all of your advice and consider my decision for a bit more. And to answer most of you guys' inquiry, I don't intend to get those kinds of hoops 😆 this was just the first "snake bite" piercing image I found so yeah~
