Let's stay on track beauties with the question and answer accordingly. Its not worth getting upset at each other.

Claire I would go with a brown black shade. MAC brow pencil in spike is a good one. Along with NYX has one as well. Just short light strokes are needed to fill in your brows starting at the inner part of your and closing it out at the tail. I'm horrible at describing in deeper detail so hopefully more will post their thoughts soon to assist in the techinque portion.

I definitely wouldn't go anywhere NEAR black if you have blonde hair.
brown would be okay, but black? no.
I say taupe is a good match.
