So I was debating wether or not to get hair extensions and I was wondering if they were worth it or not because I know they are pricy and you have to maintain them. These are my questions to people who have had experience with them.
1. What type did you get
2. Do you feel they were worth it
3. Overall experience
4. Price? I know it varies place to place but I think it would be nice to know :) thanks

I have I-tip microbead extensions. I love them so much, they look so natural. Overall price was around $600 but they are the best thing I've ever spent money on lol. I'll post some pictures.

I like you-tip or clip ins. Every time I wore hair extension I found that my hair always felt a lot more damaged for some reason..I always changed my hair extensions but I think from wearing them so often it really thinned my hair out. What ever type you end up getting make sure you do your research to get the products for keeping your extensions and hair in good condition

Microbreads are pushed up depending on hair growth (plus factoring in slippage)..and prior to root touch up...which, on average, would be 4-6 weeks for most people who are properly caring for their wear and color. Naturally, there will be people who let that slide...and you can tell, but upkeep can get costly so I get that maybe they are doing their best.

Clip ins...several posters have had bare patches or tangles where they repeatedly wore their clip ins. Others endured breakage, but many here are crazy about them. They both have pros and cons, so exploring hair health, budget, upkeep, color, and lifestyle should be taken into consideration to chose what is best for you. Good luck!!

I love my extensions! Have had them for years.
1 - I got tape in extensions. The are comfortable, look so natural, and good quality.
2 - definitely worth it
3 - always had good experiences with tape ins, I've heard that most people get them retaped every 6 weeks but I look after them really well and they last about 10. I then replace the whole set with a new set about once a year.
4 - to buy a whole set and get them put in, it costs me almost $600. However, you can put them in yourself. When I just get the same set retaped, it costs me $280 :)
