I have been struggling to find a nice clutch for graduation/prom and since my dress is black I did not necessarily want to have a black clutch. Therefore, I thought if having a clear and gold clutch with a small black coin purse in it would look tacky?

Personally, I don't like the clear clutch. But if you want to avoid black you could use a white, gold or silver clutch and I think that would look nice :)

I don't really like the idea. I think a colored clutch/purse by itself or the clear and gold purse by itself would be a better way to go.

I personally don't like the clear clutch, but that's just me. Your dress is black so you can get a clutch any color you'd like to add a pop of color.

If you go with a clear clutch maybe you could embellish it with some pretty jewels, that's always an option. I kind of dig the clear one but then again I'm a crafty person and would glam it out to fit my personality and make it a memorable piece to remind me of that night and use it for a room decor to hold a few cosmetics ;)

Another option I thought of was you could have friend's sign your clear clutch that night as memory piece of prom and who was there to share the night, just get a few colored sharpies. It's all just a fun thought and I hope you have a blast. By the way thanks Qwaserght :)

Maybe I'm the only one but I think the clear clutch looks really cool. I'd even put my stuff in there without the coin purse maybe? But then everyone could see things like money.. mh not sure. And I also think adding some cool gold jewelry would look awesome. Btw where are you planning on getting clutch from? :)

I have that coin pouch and it definitely won't fit much at all, I can't even fit my phone in mine! Maybe you can find another clutch to go with your dress, or you can find the bigger version of that coin pouch because it's quite large.

I personally love the clutch, and I don't think it'll look good, try a royal blue clutch, or yellow. any color will do really since everything goes with black.
