(later I'm planning to add some stars to my face with my angled eyeliner brush and blue mascara. ill also use a white eyeliner/eyeshadow for some white stars.)
Products Used:
> Loreal anti-redness bb cream
> Maybelline fit me concealer (20)
> Maybelline fit me powder (220)
> NYC smooth skin bronzer (sunny)
> Maybelline master hi-light (40; mauve)
> Estée Lauder pure color eyeshadow (12; wild truffle)
> Vaseline
> Covergirl smoky shadow blast (step 1; lightest shade)
> Estée Lauder color design (daylight)
> Almay intense I-color volumizing mascara (032; sapphire)
> Cherry Chap-Block lip balm
How I applied:
1.) I started with a fresh face and used my bb cream for a flawless skin finish. I am struggling with acne currently, so I used my concealer to hide any blemishes and even put some under my eyes. To make sure it lasts all day, I set it with my powder.
2.) I wanted to add some color to my face so I used my bronzer and blush to add a nice natural bronzy/glowy face.
3.) To fill in my brows, I used my angled eyeliner brush and took my eyebrow powder to add a little bit of color. Then, I used some Vaseline to set my brows because I'm currently out of my brow gel.
4.) I used my cream eyeshadow stick and applied the lightest shade all over my life. Then I took the gold and lightest pink shade from my blush all over my lids. I took the two darkest pink shades on my tapered eyeshadow brush to get a very defined crease and blended it out with my bronzer for a nice bronze. I used my small tapered eyeshadow brush to smudge some of the bronzer on my lower lash line.
5.) To make my look more festive for the Fourth of July, I curled my lashes and added a couple coats of blue mascara. I didn't have a blue eyeliner, so I used my angled eyeliner brush and dipped it in my mascara for a cute blue eyeliner look!
5.) Last, but not least, I used my cherry chap stick to keep my lips moisturized, but still add a tint of color.
My Opinions & What I'd Change:
I would rather have a blue eyeliner because the mascara wasn't pigmented enough imo. Other than that, it's very natural and I like it (: Also, the bb cream was slightly too dark for my skin so I'd mix it with a moisturizer to lighten it up a tad (:

You look gorgeous! Your skin is super flawless and your eyes are beautiful. I'd add a little more color to your lips and maybe a little more color on the cheeks as well. Again, you are really gorgeous! Happy 4th of July! :)

Katelyn, I think it looks great. And I don't think you look younger than you are, & not in a bad way at all! I get told that I look younger than I am ALL the time though and I have the philosophy you do, when I'm even older I'll look younger than my age still & who doesn't want that? lol. I'm an esthetician so at 26 if people think I'm much younger I feel I'm doing a great joh with my skin so it's definitely a compliment. Your skin looks amazing as well! it doesn't seem like you have any blemishes, absolutely perfection! Enjoy your 4th!

I think we should all be cautious on how we speak to each other & offering constructive criticism. To say it looks okay, or I don't like it, is not constructive criticism. We all don't need to like everyone's post or say it looks great because that's not helpful either, but maybe mention what could have done better to help, otherwise I feel it's just being rude to be rude and no other reason which is quite sad!

Thank you so much Sarah! I would have never guessed you were 26!! Your skin is amazing (: I try to take pretty good care of my skin because I used to have really bad acne and I don't want to go down that road again lol! I honestly don't get bothered when people say it just looks okay or I don't like it. There are many people that think it looks good and as long as I like it, that's what matters (: I do think it would be great to mention what I could have done better though! (:

Aw thanks doll, I definitely try it takes a lot of work and luckily I have the resources available to me to help in getting my skin where I want it. I actually like how fresh faced you look I wouldn't necessarily change anything because it's not in need of anything else but I do agree it would pop more with some blush and lip color but you said you already did that!
