My acne is breaking out on my face and some on my back I was hopping if you would have some home made ways to get rid of them.

I heard that Rubbing an ice cube or banana peel can reduce the redness (not get rid of 'em). Personnaly I tried this ice cube and it worked a little. If not, drink a lot of water, get a lot of sleep, put honey on it for about 30 minutes or more and then remove it and finally put some toothpaste overnite (didn't try all of the tricks. Some of them I saw on pinterest)

DO NOT put toothpaste or honey on your skin. Toothpaste is meant for your teeth hence the name. It will burn your skin and irritate acne further. I would go to a a dermatologist and ask for their insight.
@Emilie please don't recommend any tricks you havent tried before because they could be very harmful.

Definitely do not use toothpaste. It won't do anything but harm your skin.

I'm glad it works for you but it won't for most people, I don't suggest it due to it having extremely harsh chemicals.

Toothpaste use to actually work But the ingredient that was the key to it workng is no longer in the toothpaste and all that is left is ingredients that can give irritation but if you believe it works for you then hey it's your skin and I think you may found a remedy to your own question. :) let's just be respectful and help any way we can ladies.

I suggest using apple cider vinegar as a toner/ astringent. I've started using it for a week now and I see an improvement in my skin not only with acne but the scaring as well. It left my skin feeling healthy and brighter. I had a travel size bottle laying around so I did half water, and half ACV. Honestly it doesn't smell great at all but my moisturizer kills the smell

I completely agree with Shanae and Ramsha, toothpaste can cause permanent damage as in scars or marks. And Tea tree oil is very good for acne :) Honey is so so, only for particular skin types. And normally raw honey is what people talk about. I have mixed feelings because certain recipes can be very harmful, but others very good. But honey is normally is for dry skin. Also, if anyone recommends rubbing alcohol to you, please do NOT use it. It dries and damages your skin terribly. Also there are some body washes that are specially formulated for fighting acne :) I believe clean & clear has one! I hope I helped! Xx

My intention wasn't to be rude, re reading what I wrote it could come off that way.
I realized I never answered the actual question. For body acne I really recommend the neutrogena acne body wash. And for face I really like the Loreal anti breakout face wash followed by the Dr Lin acne spot treatment. These products have really helped me clear out my acne and my dark spots as well.

Ramsha I didn't think you were rude at all doll, you were just trying to be helpful by giving her warning which is fine.I just had said that to ease off anyone from continuing to keep up the debate of it instead of trying to help find a solution for the author. You know how sometimes 10 people would repeat the same thing but no advice to help. :)

I highly recommend unflavoured yoghurt for a face mask, I suggest twice a day for 20mins. I've tried it and it's amazing

Yeah when my acne brakes out I put tooth past on it over night as it drys the spots up and you can then flick them off your face. X

I recently have been using aloe Vera straight from the plant and it has been working better than any other expensive product I have ever got!
