Wow, it has been a long time since I created my own thread... As a lot of you know, I am currently battling multiple severe illnesses that have left me homebound and largely bedridden. I haven't been able to wear any makeup for months (and honestly haven't felt up to it anyway).

Well, as a red-blooded American born and raised, I was not about to let the birth of our great nation pass me by without at least dragging myself out of bed, no matter how much pain. So I pulled myself up by my bootstraps, put my face on, and even managed to have supper with my family before having to go back into hiding (noises trigger my seizures, so fireworks were bad news). Unfortunately the rest of the night sucked (seizing), but you win some you lose some.

Yes I know this is a terrible edited photo, I didn't realize I saved over my original when I made my colorful version. :( I'm just so excited that I actually did makeup that I have to share.

As you can tell even in the edited photo, that foundation is way too dark for me. "Siberia" tends to lean a little peachy on my skin, so that's not ideal. Any suggestions on a close-to-white foundation with yellow/neutral undertones for dry skin?

Haha Thanks Alma! I'm working on designing some costumes that incorporate my wheelchair, they're all pretty ambitious so I don't know if I'm being realistic. I keep going, "Well I have months to work on it" but in the back of my head I hear "117 days is not that long..." especially when I know that there are days when I just can't do anything at all. We'll see.

You look gorgeous...skin smooth as a peach and the lips are Lucious...seriously beautiful. My sister is terribly ill and seizes...extensively. I know the isolation is tough..let alone what it takes to muster up motivation. I admire your joyful spirit and pray your health improves. So glad you enjoyed a supper with family. I hope a deviled egg, potato salad or an all beef dog found it's way into your holiday! Cupcakes would be even better!
